Rare vintage porcelain demi cup and saucer from Bareuther Waldsassen, Germany. This piece features hand-painted religious motifs on both the cup and saucer.
Details include a pale yellow base with a gold rim and charcoal-shaded paintings. The item is in lovely antique condition with no chips or cracks.
*Please note: There are some darker paint spots visible (detailed in photos). The artist's initials are on the cup, but difficult to discern. Dimensions: Saucer 4 1/2", Cup 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" handle to rim, 2 1/4". Weight: 3.9 ounces for both.
History: Bareuther was established in Waldsassen in 1866 and later became Porzellanfabrik Bareuther & Co. The back stamp suggests a probable year of manufacture around the 1970s.
