Striking necklace of faceted button-shaped natural amethyst beads. They are all fairly uniform in size, alternating deep violet with rich medium violet colors. Many of the stones are quite transparent. Four button-shaped sterling beads are interspersed in the amethyst in a lovely subtle way. It has a good-sized extender chain with the traditional DTR puffy heart on the end. In excellent vintage condition. Dimensions: Length is 17.75 inches (45 cm) up to 20.5 inches (52 cm) with extender. Bead size averages 10 x 7 mm. Weight is 59.5 grams. Markings: DTR 925 on both bead caps and clasp. This version of the DTR logo was copyrighted in 1993 and in use until 1999.
