Fine pair of 19th-century South American Trapadero-style carved wooden stirrups, likely from Chile or Peru, with chip-carved decoration and original hand-forged steel fittings. 6" at the widest x 8 1/2" long; 24" from the bottom of the stirrup to the top of the leather banding. These stirrups are in great condition. There are two pieces of tire rubber attached to the heel of each stirrup. A unique piece of history.
