Antique 19th Century French Cast Iron Brilliant Blue Paschal Resting Lamb Mold. *Please Read Description Carefully*. Also known as an Agneau Pascal or Osterlamm mold. This vintage blue enameled cast iron cake/chocolate/wax mold was traditionally used to bake lamb-shaped cakes for Easter and other celebrations. The two sides are held together by metal clasps. The interior has a white enamel coating with stains, cracks, and wear consistent with its age (125+ years). Patina, weathering, and vintage charm are present due to historical significance.
